Huh. Though I think some of those are just me forgetting to click a box. This is discounting 'no archive warnings apply', of course, which is a vast majority. Next after that is graphic violence.... which is probably under-tagged, tbh. I *can* be an adventurous writer, but I'm not always.

I'm not super surprised... I don't think it is necessarily on purpose, though. As for preferences... More about the dynamics. I really am surprised that Gen is so dominant, though! I would have expected m/m to be up there more.

I'm still active in Diablotin, but my focus there has changed a lot wth the different campaigns. I suspect I may write more AW again when the new game starts, too. Some of those D&D tags are on Adventure World or Diablotin fics, so I'm not really sure it should count! The next one after that is NIght Vale. I'm surprised Inception is still so high up there - those are all drabbles from an old LJ comm. I haven't written for it in ages. Other than 'games I'm in,' I'm all over the place for fandoms, though thwre are some that pop up in exchanges and such a lot. I'm also surprised Books of the Raksura aren't hgher up the list by now.

7. How many WIPs do you have currently running on AO3? Any you don’t plan on finishing?
One, that is abandoned and marked as so. I wish I had the energy to sustain it, but I tried ones to pick it back up and I failed. Although I saw it differently than a WiP - I was imagining it more like a serial story. And there is a conceptual difference there, to me, anyway. Like, it was less a 'work in progress' and more 'story so far'. Anyway, it is never getting "finished" or worked on again, which is a shame because I put a lot of thought and work into it. It is still my longest story on AO3.

In other AO3 news, I posted my Sexus fic for the Haxus Mini Event today, which is over here on the off chance that someone else might want to look at it ;p

I also passed the half way mark on Pulled by the Sunset! Sooooon.... like probably it will be of the needles by next weekend @_@

Today was also the last session for Thirteen. Weh! But a new Adventure World game is going to be starting up soonish, so that will hopefully be fun. I'm going to play a hobgoblin sorta priest of the ancestors who hears voices and practices ritual cannibalism. His name is Corivan and he wears a lot of skulls and fur because aesthetic.

I had a very full sounding day that still included a lot of sitting around on the couch doing very little.

I got my roomie to help me take my cat to the vet in the morning to get some shots (though I realize I forgot to pick up Jola's flea and heartworm stuff - d'oh!), then treated myself to Subway for lunch ($5 footlongs :V). In the afternoon I had an interview for Tag Wrangling Staff, which I think went really well, and officially the longest interview I have ever had for anything. But computer stuff goes slower by its nature. I think it went really well though, and now I wait for them to finish other interviews and hear back from Volcom :3

After that it was minor hose things, like cleaning the cat box and doing dishes. Excite! I am working on weaving in the ends on my Night Vale socks, but there are a lot of them and I am not very good at it yet, especially where there is a lot of pattern to deal with. And there are 6-8 ends per sock :( I have four done in total. I think the ones on the toes were the worst though, and I did both of those. They were knit in black yarn on size 0 needles and I have a very tight gauge, so they are tiny and impossible to see. the advantage is that the fabric is so tight that I don't think it would be noticeable at all if I fucked it up (which I surely did >.>) If I remember tomorrow I'll bring my ruler downstairs and tell you the stitches per inch so you can shake your heads at me ;p But for reference, I was comparing gauge with tethys123 and to get the gauge she has on 0's, I would have to go up probably at least two needle sizes. The purple ends I have done were definitely easier. Never knitting in black on 0's again @_@

Tonight, other than end weaving, I watched another episode of Person of Interest with naryrising - now up to s1e5 :D I'm really enjoying it so far and I hear it keeps getting better, so score!

Gonna try and finish weaving in ends tomorrow, and if I do i will cast on my firelight vest. I also meant to clip Jola's toenails and somehow she escaped that fate for now! The other thing I would like to do if I have time/don't spend all day knitting and gaming, is to start working on background stuff for my changeling LARP that I am going to run at this year's Webercon. Because I am a masochist, or something @_@

It is not quite managing to rain out; it is aggressively misty.

I had meant to try and do some academic type work tonight, and it does not seem to have happened. I'm trying to remember everything I did do, and failing. I did some AO3 tag wrangling. I cooked dinner. I set up my new router (wooh!). I picked up Jola. I skyped with my dad. I chatted with new old roomie (he was my first roomie here, but only briefly, and just came back at Christmas). He made pie (and cleaned up afterward)! And fed me dark chocolate and marzipan! He's a good roomie ^-^

I feel like there must have been more to it - I don't even think I spend that long chatting tonight, though I did some. Maybe facebook ate some of my time? I'm honestly not sure!

ETA: now I remember - winding a recalcitrant ball of yarn :p

Anyway, I had good intentions and completely failed at following through on them. Ahh well, there is always tomorrow!

Meanwhile, I have some thinking to do, as I have been invited to going the AO3 Tag Wrangling staff for the next term (a year) and need to think about whether this is something I both can and want to do. I would like to do more to support the org, but it is an average of 5 hours a week - so an hour every weeknight, say - and if I am going to try and be more productive academically I'm not sure how that will jive. On the other hand, having more responsibilities may help me structure my time better, and since I'm not in the middle of doing anything overwhelming atm, like finishing my diss or job hunting, this might be a good time. I suppose what I ought to do is talk to some of the people I know on staff and get some inside info on the time and work and so forth.

I would also kind of like to do some writing as well... Something something trope bingo >.>

Maybe tomorrow I'll get around to my end of the year writing wrap up. And maybe tell you about my exciting new upcoming trip :V For now - I think an early bedtime is in order.
