Huh. Though I think some of those are just me forgetting to click a box. This is discounting 'no archive warnings apply', of course, which is a vast majority. Next after that is graphic violence.... which is probably under-tagged, tbh. I *can* be an adventurous writer, but I'm not always.

I'm not super surprised... I don't think it is necessarily on purpose, though. As for preferences... More about the dynamics. I really am surprised that Gen is so dominant, though! I would have expected m/m to be up there more.

I'm still active in Diablotin, but my focus there has changed a lot wth the different campaigns. I suspect I may write more AW again when the new game starts, too. Some of those D&D tags are on Adventure World or Diablotin fics, so I'm not really sure it should count! The next one after that is NIght Vale. I'm surprised Inception is still so high up there - those are all drabbles from an old LJ comm. I haven't written for it in ages. Other than 'games I'm in,' I'm all over the place for fandoms, though thwre are some that pop up in exchanges and such a lot. I'm also surprised Books of the Raksura aren't hgher up the list by now.

7. How many WIPs do you have currently running on AO3? Any you don’t plan on finishing?
One, that is abandoned and marked as so. I wish I had the energy to sustain it, but I tried ones to pick it back up and I failed. Although I saw it differently than a WiP - I was imagining it more like a serial story. And there is a conceptual difference there, to me, anyway. Like, it was less a 'work in progress' and more 'story so far'. Anyway, it is never getting "finished" or worked on again, which is a shame because I put a lot of thought and work into it. It is still my longest story on AO3.

Today was also the last session for Thirteen. Weh! But a new Adventure World game is going to be starting up soonish, so that will hopefully be fun. I'm going to play a hobgoblin sorta priest of the ancestors who hears voices and practices ritual cannibalism. His name is Corivan and he wears a lot of skulls and fur because aesthetic.

This was a larp weekend! Technically the next game is in two weeks, but I've already told myself no. I'm going away to Toronto for the weekend with Nary the following weekend, and then back to Toronto with geek girls folks the weekend after *that* (just a day trip though). That's too many weekends away, I think, and too close together. ON the other hand, what's one more? :V

We're on our final storyline for Thirteen, and I'm sad :/ I really liked that game! But I think the GM was finding it hard to sustain, in terms of coming up with stories, and not get sidetracked into worldbuilding. So we're going to go back to Adventure World and do something set in that campaign world's early history. I think it is going to be sort of another kingdom-level game too, like the Scaermar game I was in a few years ago in College Station. We're using the Game of Thrones RPG rules this time, which will be interesting. Our GM is going to need to write up a lot of stuff, so we'll see how that goes ;) Another option that was tossed around was going back to Ashland, but I don't think we have the right mix of players for it, unfortunately. I'm not really sre we have enough players for this new game either, but I guess we'll see.

In non-gaming news.... I bleached the underside of my hair on a whim! Longpig was doing her roots, but since she basically has no hair these days there was a loooot of bleach left over. So hey! Now the underside of my hair is blond. Not platinum blond, because my hair doesn't do that, but really frickin' blond comparatively. I'll try and get a picture tomorrow when it is all dry. Next step - get some good green hair dye, or mix up some green and black, maybe..... I'm going to try and get to Sally Beauty some day after work this week, assuming they are open late enough! Otherwise, it'll be the weekend.

For now though - bedtime! I'm still wrecked from LARP @_@

I slept on the couch in the basement last night and probably will again tonight. My bed still smells like pee, but less like pee.... Wererogue ordered a vat of nature's miracle, but if I get impatient I will probably just stop at the pet store and get some tomorrow, because it wont be here until Tuesday, maybe? Sometimes Amazon is faster than advertised. Though I've still never gotten my Raksura book (I read Nary's copy). Not that I really have room for it on my shelf anyway. But now I have emailed them again because this is ridiculous.

Anyway! Game today was great, though my character gained another 'madness'. I now have ...five. I'm not sure what this one will be, but at least I'm not the only one losing it any more - our swashbuckler is startng to pick some up too. If my sanity ever drops below half I'm going to be gibbering in a corner, but apparently my thighs are still dreamy enough that Longpig's character would still maybe marry him ;p It was a really good session, anyway.

I also got some dyeing done. I don't think I have enough yellow left for another row of my larp shawl, so I took the stuff I'd tried to dye with a fairly exhausted walnut bath and put it in a fresh, much more intense walnut bath! I simmered it for a while and am leaving it to soak overnight. I'll take it out tomorrow and see how it looks then.

Now I'm just lazing. I should write on my galra exchange fic but I'm still just so tired :| Early bed for sure.

Took an allegra and a rectine. No hives or faceleaking but I am dumb and sleepy af.

But I got many kitty toes trimmed and had some nice cuddles.

I had 13 today and it was a really good session, I think! I'm so lucky to have so many good engaging games, and such awesome people to RP with in all of them. Also got some knitting done.

Yesterday I brought in the yarn in the cherry bark bath.... and there was nothing, no change at all. I'm super disappointed. It just smells gross now :/ I'm not sure if I should rescour it and go through the whole mordanting process again, or what. Maybe I can try again with some queen anne's lace/wild carrot tops, which are supposed to be green. Maybe bark dyes just don't work with solar dyeing. I dunno, but I am disappointed, boo :(

I need to pick a writing project. I finished all my exchange fics and have freedom to do what I want if I only could decide what that is ;p

My connection is being really crap, and I'm suer tired, so this will be short.

Thirteen today was cool, but it always is so that's no surprise.
I ate too much chocolate today also.
We started reading the Ventress novel - it;s adorable but they are doomed to failure. You can really ship Quinlan Voss with anyone, but especially with Obi Wan and/or Ventress. There is a scene where he is stealing Obi-Wan's fries and telling him he doesn't know how to flirt. Lol. Where did that meme go about 'you know it's love when you order a large...'
Watched the season 3 opener of Rebels as well - that is a show that I want to have more depth and impact that doesn't quite manage it. Not keen on the full beard for Kanan, though I gran it is probably hard to shave. Not super keen on Ezra's hair either - I feel like it was a visual reference to the disconnect that's been growing between them, even though he'll probably keep it. Ezra is phenomenally stupid. Kanan is probably doomed to failure. There was a giant rock space moose. That's all I got.

Sleep now, probably I'll need to adult more tomorrow, in one form or another....

The chocolate cheesecake I helped make (technically I mostly directed Nary's son in the baking thereof, but I took some parts on myself) was delicious, even if it did split while baking. I have had, let's say, more than one piece :p
We've also managed to recreate Abruzzi's version of a Sicillian Sour: small glass, 3 ice cubes, 1 oz amaretto, 1 oz limoncello, fill up the rest of the way with san pellegrino limonada and a wedge of lemon (squeezed). Damned delicious! Might also be nice with a splash of gin, I may need to investigate...

Watched the last episodes of Voltron with the family today. Bubby was a bit distressed about what happened to Shiro, but aren't we all? That's a damned good show, all in all, and I can't wait until the next season this September!

If all goes to plan, tonight will be my last night on this mattress. I'm so excited! Tomorrow I need to do laundry to ensure that I have clean sheets for the new one. Other than that, depending on when the mattress comes, I want to go out and buys some big plastic storage bins so I can rearrange some of my stuff in storage and, maybe, some of the stuff in my room.

I also had Thirteen today, which was the conclusion of a story arc and turned out pretty cool. Now we have some downtime and a chance to recover for a bit, which is nice - I need to think a bit about what my character will be doing with it. I also filled up a journal during game - now I have to decide what i'm going to start using next for game notes, hmmmmm

I feel like I had something else to say but now I forget what. Ahh well, it is unlikely that it was anything important!

Thirteen today. We split the party in three. Other people got cool politics or spying. We got an eldrich horror. Of course! But my character has dogs now so I didn't go as crazy (though I did lose sanity). I did post the story about my character getting the dogs :3

We finished watching Clone Wars sometime.... last week, and started watching Rebels. So far, I find it lacks sophistication/complexity (though I'm forgiving because we're only a few episodes in, and comparing it to later CW episodes is probably unfair) and I am So Not Here for Ezra. However I'm all about Hera, and her pseudo Jedi boy-toy whose name I cannot remember for the life of me. Lanyon? He's okay, but really, Hera. Not super grabbed by old but also super immature Surly Purple Cat Grandad, or Manic Pixie Dream Bomber. So we'll see.

I finished another chart on my shawl today after game, and the rest of the yarn shipped this weekend.

I feel like there was more to today but I couldn't tell you what. I guess I could/should try to go to bed early?

So, I missed a post yesterday, and as self-punishment I am making myself write (or at least start) one-on-one my phone on the way up to the museum. Today I am going to continue looking for some stuff at SA, and then scan it if I do. I enjoy having concrete things to do!

I went to an art show yesterday by the Shadowood collective. It was really cool! They had a bunch of original works, and then a wall of mini prints. I bought one of the latter, because it was $35 and not like $1500 like the originals I was oggling! The name/theme of the show was "Do we make you uneasy?" And it was nice creepy surrealism stuff - right up my alley. The print I bought was a black cat with white eyes, so less creepy than most of it.

I've been working on my scarf/shawl, and am almost to the first bead! I am going to have to improvise a tool, though, so we'll see how that goes. There are only four in this chart, but I think more in the next, so I may break down and buy one.

I did manage to convince my gm to let my character have some beneficial effects from a dog animal companion for Thirteen (Fantasy colonial call of Cthulhu). So hopefully I will be less susceptible to madnesses :p I had been planning to take some kind of raptor for him initially, but in the last story there were some dogs that belonged to the antagonist. We used them to track him down, and now that he's been dealt with (shipped back across the ocean to live in a monastery for his own good), someone needs to look after them, right? I like the narrative arc of it, because at first I couldn't make a handle animal roll to save my life, so clearly it took them a while to warm up to my character, and now they're going to follow me everywhere! Dogs! There is some other stuff which makes it work out really well too, as the dogs were there when the creepy blue tentacle lion thing appeared out of nowhere and eviscerated his sister, nearly one-shotting her D: And then I failed my san check... Anyway now I will have dogs! They will be a great comfort, because you can pet them, and also they will freak out when there are invisible aberrations around, and my character can otherwise relax. Dogs are so good :3 Of course now I am writing the story of how the transition to them being Kahon's dogs goes, because that's how I roll.
