Almost got my permit app sent off, however I forgot to stop and print the colour images at the computer center, and then i forgot that I don't have a CD burning program on my computer. Blargh blargh blargh. I *could* bike to schoool and bike to the post office and bike home, in theory. In practice I have already biked to school and back and to the bank and back today and I don't know if i could manage it.

I think what I will do is have a little more 'down time', then walk J and empty sampson before biking back to school to print/burn stuff.

Or hey wait, windows actually managed to burn a data cd without exploding! Now I only need the printing. Uuuugh. Maybe I should just suck it up. I think I will have to.

Hopefully I will not die in the next 40 min to an hour ;p

....

Not dead but not successful. For one thing, I forgot the disc in my laptop here. I just got back from printing, so even if I hadn't, it is doubtful I would have made the post office, as it is now almost ten to 5.

Bah, meh, weh.

The bright side is that (so far as I know) I have it all ready to go tomorrow, and it was neither sunny or rainy during the times I needed to bike out, so I aintent dead.

Last night, I dreamt that i was trying to navigate the city where my sister lived (not a real place - a conglomeration of Fredericton, Sheffield, and Toronto). I was trying to get to school, I think (again not a real place, but a conglomeration of elements from various schools I've attended or visited). I was used to taking the transit system, but for some reason I was biking, and I couldn't find the landmarks that I thought I knew. The geography of the place was very real to me, but now I can only remember one street name- short street. I can visualize some of the intersections quite clearly as well. It was at night, although dream-me seems to have forgotten that she hates biking at night. Or at least it was very dark. Somewhat true to form, I hadn't quite reached the point where I was willing to stop and ask for directions, so i was sort of blundering around. I remember going up a very steep hill, at one point, and also a bunch of older students getting out of somewhere - calss, or maybe a pub, and thinking I should just follow them.

As I started to wake up more, my brain remembered that really, the front brakes on my bike are actually broken, and this became the case in my dream as well. I remember suddenly wondering why I had even taken it out, and how I had managed to get that far... And rethinking the whole 'down a steep hill' option.

Yeah, so my brakes on my bike are broken and I'm not 100% sure a: how to fix them and b: when I'll even have time, bah! Also, weird dreams persist.

ETA!

Oh right! also, there was a really weird bird along the path this morning. Some kind of waterbird, with mottled brown feathers and a really long skinny neck, small head, and a long pointy bill. It was pretty big - maybe some kind of juvenile crane or heron sort of deal? It was staring up at the sky/into a tree, and when we (Jola and I) came closer, it flew rather awkwardly over one of the fences into someone's yard. Hopefully not the yard with a dog, but I couldn't tell -_-

A little further along the path, someone had deposited their beer bottles by leaving them directly in the center of that path, on the yellow dash line. Two empty bottles of Shiner, about 100 feet apart.

On top of this, it was very foggy this AM (still is, really). A surreal sort of morning, all in all.

I biked home today! In theory I could bike in to school tomorrow also - we'll see, it is more uphill. not *really* hilly, but it is a gradual slpe and I haven't yet mastered my gears. Hey I haven't owned a bike since middle school okay? :V

Yesterday i was reading tf comics in the airport to kill time. I was sitting near some phones, and this little kid kept playing with them and pretending to to make calls everytime I glanced up to check if he was still paying rapt attention over my shoulder. So cute! I started reading extra slow once I noticed him. All Hail Megatron indeed ^-^

Jola is still in that phase where she is worried I'm going to leave her again so is extra excited whenever I come home and is super cuddly. Silly puppy, I may leave but I'll always come back! <3
