So. I PASSSSED! I know none ofd you are surprised, but I actually found it kind of harrowing. not the defense, but the oral comps part... Probably because my brain melted, I knew exactly what things people were gong to ask me about, more or less. And I was right. I even studied those things especially (stupid navigation acts), but my brain was *not* cooperating at all - I blame the lack of sleep. But yeah, I did pass and that is the important part.
So next I need to get my signature pages signed, which will require me bying the Expensive Paper (tm). I will get most of those tomorrow, and the rest on Monday. I also need to make my corrections, but for some reason I only have 4 and not 5 copies of my thesis. I am missing Dr. Dudley's commentary. Weird. Maybe it is still at Eller? Maybe he just didn't give me any? Anyway. I will start working on corrections tomorrow.
In other news, I have purchased a ticket (I hope!) that will get me to Toronto at 11:30 AM on Sunday, May 28. Rar! I will have a hamster. At this point I am shipping him in a box. I may get a cage for him, because the one I have in not very travel friendly, and also not really big enough for him... Alternately if anyone in TO has a cage for him, or would be willing to pick one up, that would be swell!
In less exciting news, my weekly game has been canceled again this week, So if we play next week, it'll be my last session. And did I get Sol to Arcane Trickster? Not by a long shot. Why did I even bother! ;p If he were less useless in a dungeon, I might use him in Exia Gaiden, but no... We have more, better, rogues already :/ And his spells are not the best for dungeon hacks.
