In other news, it is my birthday, whee!

I think a mark of adulthood is exchanging yarn for a bundt pan with a friend whose birthday was yesterday... We had cupcakes with lunch.

Well technically her yarn is still in the mail. But my new bundt pan is lovely ^-^

I wanna go home and take a nap, but I have to go to the store, again, because I forgot to pick up my heartburn meds when I was there on Friday, and I'm completely out -_-

Then I will nap, and finish my knitting if I haven't already by the time I'm home and then.... Eat dinner? Maybe write? Work on my yuletide letter? Go to bed early?

I'm sneaking out a few minutes early to catch the better bus. It's a thrill a minute around here, I tell ya!

I'm a Six!

So fr I have received a bunch of awesome things already enumerated from Hazel, a stuffed pirate alligator received well in advance from Ceiridwen (named Anne :), A book from Joel's parents, a book, some playmobile pirates and kinder eggs from Joel, a pirate-y shirt from Rum and Amanda, and a bunch of transformers (including a GIANT Starscream) from Buck. Score, and thanks everyone :D

I also got a bunch of other stuff in my package from Buck that are kind of presents to myself (more transformers, of course), as well as some that he touched up for me, so it feels like an especially sweet haul on the toy and pirate haul, all around. Way to ring in my 29th ^-^

Right now, Joel is making pancaked, then we are going to venture out to HEB to get renfaire tickets, and head out that way for the afternoon, where we will hopefully meet up with Megan and some other assorted peeps. Should be fun :D

I need no go plunderin' (not that I don't plunder, but I have no need!) all the finest in pirate kitchen swag delivers itself to me very own doorstep. I be meanin' cabin! I just be glad no other pirates though to appropriate me swag as it be just set under me doormat -_- Keelhaul all the mailmen, sniveling puppies the lot of them.

I'll be baking meself a pirate cake this evenin' in my pirate cake tin, and on the morrow cap'n Lannie be servin' up some stakes marinated in Jolly Roger bbq sauce! ARR!

kay, maybe it is a little arrogant of me to assume that there are people out there who are definitely planning to buy me presents, but I thought i should let you know that the address on my amazon wishlist is wrong wrong wrong! I can't get them to fix it because I don't have the info on my BB&T card to give them, because I had to give the card back when I closed he account, because I was moving, and now I can't change the address!

So while I still pretty much want stuff off that list, you can't just get Amazon to ship it for you, because they will end it to Greenville :p

I am trying to get it fixed, but I am not sure I will be able to. I don't even know if I will be able to get them to just close the account. Bah!

Anyway, just a heads up -_-

Now that hazel's birthday is barely past, I know you are all out there plannig what you should be buying me :)

I have another list somewhere, which I'l dredge up and update in the mornig, but right now, I kind of want house thngs - like kitchenware or whatever. A spice rack. A coffee table. not nthat any of you could or would get me that sort of thing :o

I also covet Scary go round t-shirts. Pretty much any of them, really :o

Also I would kill for the new BPAL 'Picnic in Arkham' t because it is really just a big old elder sign.
