I've got 4 days to be done this chapter by my deadline. Once I'm through with it, I will send it and Barcadares to Dr E. I will give him very specific guidelines about what I am looking for input on for Barcadares. Then I can mess around with Nevis background stuff, and maybe write my Introduction while I am waiting to get stuff fro Meniketti.

I did get a lot of stuff done today, even if I didn't get much written. I'm still having a hell of a time with this transition, and I think it is partly just because it is awkward and there isn't much I can do to tie things together. I wrote *something* though, and I can look it over in the morning and see what I think then. probably i will think it is crap, and scrap this like I scrapped everything else. bah. i didn't get around to looking at the Carl comments in more detail, either. Too easily distracted.

I did find out that we have no books on Nevis. None! Crazy.
