I have about five pages, double spaced, written on this new chapter, I only really started *writing* it this weekend, though, so I think that's pretty good. I probably got about two of those pages done tonight, one yesterday, and two on Sunday, when I started. I am stuck on some of the Port Royal crap. I want to talk about how it was never really intended to look at pirate stuff and how it isn't really mentioned in any of the reports except as passing history. That goes in earlier, though, as an example of archaeology on a pirate site that isn't looking for stuff. The Trussel stuff that I segued into tonight (after finishing with Narrow Street) will look at whether or not you can see at least indirect evidence for PR's pirate roots in the material culture. I am also thinking of changing my order, which will mean re-writing the end of my shore life chapter. Anyway, I think I'm doing alright, all things considered. Tomorrow I will review Trussel, and then hopefully write a bit more. I can write about Zehedieh a bit at least.
So far so good :o
