BUT! I FINISHED Pulled by the Sunset!

I started that in.... late January. Maybe mid February by the time I actually had the beads? It needs washing and blocking which will be....an adventure because I have no idea where to do it or how I will find the materials for it! But it is pretty anyway.

I had Diablotin, and also got my yarn wound for some socks, for the next of my larp socks, and for dad's Christmas gift. And some stash pics. And I made banana bread with my also plague-ridden nephews.

And I drank a lot of tea, and hot lemon with ginger and honey. Which I am, in fact doing right now.

Stupid cold :/

I have 7 rows left on Pulled by the Sunset! and only 2 of those are actual pattern rows!

I also finished the bub hat, so technically all my Christmas Knitting is done unless I decide to do more. My Christmas weaving on the other hand...

I had a weird and awkward but interesting and maybe good meeting at work. But like... there's politics involved that are both over my head and dumb. And awkward. I guess we'll see how things go.

The weather here has been stupid - it dropped temperature really fast and we've been having snow squalls off Lake Huron. I guess it is time to strat thinking about putting plastic on my windows again.... or adding another quilt.

Cake went over really well! And was delicious. I was going to send it home with Bobbie but I forgot she was walking, and that seemed mean. So I have leftover cake. If I thought ti would last that long I'd bring the rest to pathfinder.... but that's an unlikley scenario. Unless I freeze it? maybe? It's not happening tonight, though! It's already past bedtime.

I booked stuff for the conference in November - taking the train up, staying in a hotel for two nights, work covered registration. I opted against the tour primarily because of the bus scheduling.

I also finished my sockhead hat! It just needs to be washed and have the ends trimmed. Let me tell you - it is extremely satisfying to finish a project in two weeks! And I also finished the second to last chart of Pulled by the Sunset! So all in all a great knit night :3

Voltron season 4 drops overnight tonight. My sister is getting up to watch it as soon as it goes live but I have to work tomorrow like a sucker. Maybe this weekend I can watch it... though I'm not sure when. Saturday is the fiber festival. Maybe tomorrow evening if Nary is amenable :3

Tomorrow I will see if I can cast on one of the kids hats.

Things I have done today:

Walked the dog
had a nice breakfast
spent several hours cleaning out and reorganizing the basement because of the dishwasher leak, which wound up soaking several boxes of stuff down there
cleaned the bathroom downstairs
vacuumed the stairs
vacuumed the hall upstairs again because OMG shedding season
rescued a chipmunk who had gotten its head stuck in some mesh
emptied all the trash cans

Now I am sitting for a bit. And maybe knitting. I really wanted to work on Pulled by the Sunset this weekend and I haven't gotten to yet :3 Maybe a few rows and then go see what else needs doing downstairs for dinner prep.

Seriously though I got to help and pet a chipmunk :3 Made my entire day :3
