This section is long, and significant. I hope that it is also *good*. I'm almost wary of posting it because it reveals so much, and it is at this point that I worry people will decide my whole concept is just implausible and stupid. Ahh well. I hope you will at least be honest. If it *is* implausible and stupid, I have other things I can write ^-^ It is also one of the longest, if not the longest, section I've written. Hopefully they won't get too much longer than this. Now if only I could write this much on my thesis in a day in one sitting, I'd be laughing -_-

Because I know there are people reading this who lack *any* context for this story, I went back through my journal and found the original post I'd made detailing the character and story background for Pieces. I edited it a little bit, and it can now be found here, sporting the shiny new pieces icon. If I do get a writing journal, I'll probably just move this all over there.

It looks like it is a good day for technocracy fiction :D this is the second bit on my friend's page today anyway! Tis section was really easy to write. I wish my thesis was so easy. Maybe its's because I don't need as many footnotes for this. I wish I had more mage books though. I really ought to have picked up those convention books when I was in TO :p Anyway, for those of you who actually read these things, enjoy :D Comments always welcome.

I am sleepy. I think I will nap, as I am not gaming. I shuld work on the Thesis, but sleepyness will hamper that plan. Plus if I have a long nap now, I'll be able to stay up later tonight. Yay bed, here I come!
I am gong to see a movie tomorrow with Dina and Matt, and maybe some others. It is some Steve martin flick (Shop Girl) that is playing at the free campus movie. Maybe not my usual fare, but hey! Free, and friends, and Steve Martin is okay. Also if it is terrible, I can just kill Dina ^-^
I must call people, then sleep. Oh, sweet delicious sleep... How I've missed you tis week ;_;
Also, if I can't work on my thesis, I will work on this weeks installment of pieces, even if no one reads it :p I think I will put in an inevitable encounter with the technocracy. I just have to figure out exactly how that should go. Hmm.

Yes, I am a few hours late, but since I haven't slept yet I'm not counting it as a new week. I would have had it done much earlier (say, Tuesday) but this is a longer scene. It's also much more emotional. Or possibly just whiney. I hope that I was able to properly convey things, but let me know what you think :)

Pieces, part 3
First some general non-story ramblings :) Hooray, my journal is no longer in read-only mode, for one! I've had this done for *hours*, let alone that I had other things I wanted to say! Like that my chili turned out awesome! Also, I almost forgot that I don't have class tomorrow morning! this is super sweet - I get to sleep in! I'm not setting my alarm, and if I wake up early, I will make pancakes, and bacon! or at least have a bagel or something, to celebrate. I have class at 12:30.
As far as the story goes, I would very much appreciate feedback, as always! I think that at some point (not this time, though), I will make a back dated entry that has the whole thing all together.... anyway! I will post this and then probably go to bed, unless I really feel like readng more of Citizens of the World
I have fixed up the second part just a tad, too. And this new section is quite a bit longer than the other two, probably equalling them both put together, if not more :o And I am still trying to think of a better title, and am open to suggestion.

Story time!
This is the first bit of my Daniel story. I will try to keep working on it regularly, but I'm not going to promise to stick to any kind of schedule. I don't have a name for it yet that satisfies me. But I have a working title. Comments, criticisms, flames, questions, all of these things would be appreciated :)
