Seriously. I went away, and when I come back, 1/3 of the new lj posts I see are about Lordi! I have the impression that perhape they might have done okay for themselves at this year's eurovision. ^-^ In acknowledgment of their achievement, I am listening to the only Lordi mp3 I have. Hurrah!

The float was fantastically fun. Much better weather, for one thing, also the boat I had actually *floated*! I only spent time in the river when I wanted to. At one point, there were brownies and raspberries and cider. Afterwards people dispersed for showers before going over to Chez Richards for food and chillin'. I just got back a little while ago. I am still a little dehydrated, I think. Possibly I am just tired. I would write but I might be too brain dead - we'll see.

In other news, I have been missing Changeling lately. curtana has been posting daily re-posts in her writing journal of a story about the next generation of a campaign she ran some time ago (anyone interested could friend her writing journal, shadow_truths), and though I never played her game, it makes me miss other games and characters.it makes me mourn the death of the free-form changeling world I used to have to play in. I also had a conversation with astatine210 about the changeling game that lord_mallory ran when I was in Sheffield. Changeling nostalgia everywhere! Ahh well, the stories are good, better than nothing by a long shot ^-^

In more random news, I am having a good hair day, despite the river. Hee!
