Today, my sister and her husband are flying across the Atlantic to Montreal, where he'll be starting a new job working on some Uber Sekrit Project. I hope everything goes well! *loves*

Meanwhile, today I need to get off my butt and start getting organized formy fieldwork. And I just realized today that since I'll be away in August, i won't be able to do the August Writing Challenge the way i usually do. Sad day! I generally look forward to that, even if this year I probably just would have flooded people with a bunch of Romulan stories that no one would care about ;)

Anyway, since I'm off to a poor start, as my body only seems to have realized *today* that I am no longer in the field and that yes, it should be possible to actually catch up on sleep, I figured a list was in order. So:

-Go in to school
-check my school mail
-e-mail some bahamas peeps
-start looking for forms
-make a list of all the things I need to bring with me
-order some more stuff from forestry supply, or make arrangements with someone to go shopping in town for more stuff
-start cleaning my files off my office computer
-e-mail Keely about the teaching thing, then e-mail tom or ashley if she replies
-talk to Donny

That's probably (more than) enough for now.

Other things to do:
-write
-pick up advantage for Jola
-get some groceries somewhere
-old navy for tank tops?
-Laundry

Now I'm going to finish getting dressed, check the bus schedule, and get moving.
