Ugh

Trying to read, or do anything productive tonight, has just not ben working. I keep falling asleep! I really ought to have been able to finish my book tonight, bah

Now I am having trouble making myself really go to bed, from guilt, and also, computer inertia. Probably shouldn't have eaten that bag of popcorn. On the other hand, i thought of a cool Steampunk persona, if i ever actually get off my butt and make a costume, and if I ever have a place to wear it...

In other news, Cohen tickets are wicked expensive ;_;

meh, that seems to be the going rate for Cohen tickets. I seem to remember the tix for Edinburgh had a similar range, although it was Edinburgh Castle which to some extent you can appreciate is going to charge you for an attractive location as much as the artist. Can you say the same for Austin?

I think I paid 75 quid for my ticket (Manchester Opera House). Yeah, it's steep... OTOH, you probably won't get another chance...!

Yeah, mostly it means that I probably won't have anyone to go with.... which is okay, but only because the awesome [livejournal.com profile] tethys123 said she would drive me if no one else was going, so for gas money I can at least still get there!

If she weren't so awesome, though, it would probably mean I couldn't go.

Those look cheap to me, Lan... try pricing the Waterbury CT or NY, NY shows *I* was planning on going to. It'd be cheaper for me to see him with you than to see him locally!

Sadly, the savings are marginal and I can't really afford the neighborhood of $300-500 where-ever the actual concert is... :/
