The time of the day where we make up silly songs about our dogs.

If I had a puppy I'd at her on the head
but oh and alas,but my puppy is dead!
Oh don't you weep darling, oh don't you weep dear
You'll have a new puppy in the spring of the year!

But I wan no other, no other will do,
To my poor dead puppy, my hert will be true
Her name it was Jola, her colour was dun
Oh me and my puppy we had so much fun!

And she would chase squirrels and she would chase hares
She'd like to chase skunks, and we had a few scares!
An in the house too she'd chase lights and balls
But oh my poor puppy she died in the fall!

But don't you mourn, silly, your puppy's not dead,
So go out and give her a kiss on the head.
And she'll lick your hand and wag her curly tail
Especially if you go put some food in her pail!
