I am trying to apply for an internal A&M grant for fieldwork or travel to archives. It is due on the 16th. Anyone wanna look over my application and tell me where they think it could be tightened up? Thanks in advance...

In other news, I appear to be bleeding money this month, ouch :p Dogs, eh :/ I haven't even had her (second) vet apt. yet! Must call them tomorrow!

Also, there is a Gender Bender ball on Sat.dy that i want to go to. Anyone have any idea of how I can bend my gender in a fun way that will still let me have zee dancy dancy fun?

Saturday is also the Third Annual Anthropology Department Animal Roast. Lamb on a spit! I need to think of something (cheap and quick) I can bring ;p

Bandage your boobs as flat as they will go, wear jeans, a t-shirt and a buttoned shirt. Tie your hair up or leave it down; lots of guys have long hair these days.

If you feel really silly you could draw facial hair on using an eyebrow pencil.

Put on really over the top makeup and clothes, then add a little 5 o'clock shadow, a suggestive bulge... could also use makeup to suggest an Adam's apple. Make sure to wear something that shows off your hairy legs, and then talk like Dr. Girlfriend all night! :V

I've also been having trouble figuring out what to wear to the ball. A labmate and I have been talking about going the business-suit and tie route. With lots of pomade in our hair. I've still got penny loafers from the 80s. :-) We also thought of going as stereotypical nerds or Pat from SNL.

I thought about going as a cowboy but then realized about half the male and female pop'l there do the same during a normal night.

I just went to Goodwill and grabbed a great sort of guy's club shirt that I think I can work with. Also picked up a school girl outfit for my friend John >:D Should be fun!!
