I should have been working on any number of things, but I haven't been. I have skyped with my sister, and bought some soap, and indulged myself with an LJ account. Oooh look, new icons! I wonder how long it will be until I'm full up and considering buying more space, hmmmmm?
I also meant to make a Christmas-y post. I got a lot of good stuff, and I have also talked to a bunch of peeps, so it's been since. having Samson here is also nice, and has kept me from becoming too much of a crazy hermit :V i've been doing some reading, some writing, and even a little sewing (mostly mending), and apart from the SHA paper I haven't been thinking about school or work. Sweet! I also went shopping and bought myself some clothed from Target that I'd been eying. 15$ pants, oh the extravagance!
Aaaanyway.... since some people asked me,
2 Fancy pillows
2 pirate play sets
1 pirate mug
1 hand painted mug :)

3 Tintin books (2 copies of Le Secret de la Licorne, one of Le Trésor de Rackham le Rouge)
A Hat Full of Sky

2 aprons (1 vintage, 1 piratical)
3 cookie cutters ( 1 bee, 1 bee hive, 1 ship!)
1 tiny glass perfume bottle <3
a webcam
an ulu! <3, from C's northerly travels, I presume :)
pirate hair accessories
a pirate change purse for carrying small booty
pirate coins, pencil, notepad and other silly pirrate swag
beeswax candles
awesome sox (mostly knee socks, including bee ones, pirate argyle ones, some other striped bits, and then some ranbow knit ones from cultures)
Money! which has partly become 3 pairs of pants 9two for regular wearing, one for the gym), a hoodie (orange, zippered), and a copy of Pan's Labyrinth
I thik that is everything - I may have missed some other stuff in there.
All in all, a good year :) People seemed to like the stuff I gave/did thisyear as well, which is also important. Instead of giving actual presents for family, I made charity donations (to the red Cross, the Cancer Society, and the MS Society, all Canadian branches). I will probably keep doing this also, as they all seemed to approve - none of my relatives really need more stuff ;) If any of my friends would prefre this to actual presents for next year, they should let me know and I'll work out some kind of system/budget as appropriate. I can add some other deserving charities to the mix, like Amnesty International, say.
