Just sent off Cursed Wreck for submission. This sort of thing always takes me longer than it should because I get all nervous :o but now I have two stories out on the market. i think CW probably has a better shot of the two, though - we'll see how it goes.
*starts waiting*
I started off cranky. I am over tired and I think my diet is lacking is some essential bits like iron. I think I also need to work harder to make sue I'm getting enough protein. I should probably try to keep better track of what I am eating but frankly I can't be arsed. I have also figured out what I am doing for at least one of my papers this term, but narrowing down the last is proving harder. Though I'm sure I'll get more i touch with the topic once i start to look into it, the scope of the paper, despite the awesomeness of the class, is just not something that really grips me... basically we need to find a group that the british warred with during Victoria's reign (and that's a lot of people!), and then examine the cultural and ecological impact of that contact. A lot of the interesting topics have already been claimed though. I wanted the Metis because they were Canadian, and the Maori because they were maritime-y, but they were both ones everyone else wanted too! Bah. Time to hunt around more :p Any suggestions?
ETA: I think I've settled on the Matabele
