I had initially decided to go in to school today to get a bunch of stuff done. I the end, I decided to go in tomorrow instead since I'll be going in for the gym at some point anyway (I usually gym on Monday, but Megan went to Houston with her parents to take care of some wedding stuff while they were in town).

I tried to have a productive day anyway, and was medium successful at this. I packed two more boxes of books (bringing the total to 9, and four more of files) - probably 2-3 more to go. Two bookshelves are now completely empty, two more just have a few stragglers or things that I am still using. Mostly it is just my pirate books now. I also have a bunch of clothes packed. I am going to need more boxes! The rest of my packing will be pretty easy. Honestly, there is a lot of stuff that I never unpacked - mostly sewing bits - because I never had a place to put them here -_-

I also did some academic work: I e-mailed Kevin my plans, I did a lot of looking for fellowships and funding opportunities, I started making a list of CoSP entries i need to look over again.

I haven't done any writing yet, and that has been true of the past couple days. I think I was a bit worn out from the porn battle. i have some things for it unfinished. I *still* have a section of Shadows to type up. I am hoping to do that tonight. Tomorrow, i am going back to working on my serials in my travel time. I need to get back to Cursed Wreck as well. One of the things I am planning to do tomorrow when I go in is to get Happiness Man ready to submit for publication. I am going to try it with In Spec, which is a Canadian magazine based in Edmonton. Or maybe Asimov's, haven't completely decided. They both want paper copies though - proof that they are pretty snooty ;) Seriously, paper copies? But they both pay pretty well, and I'm arrogant enough to aim for the starts here. I figure I might as well try for the bigger mags before I work my way down to the ones that pay less. makes sense, right? :D Ice has seriously spoiled me ;)

Apart from this stuff, I also wandered over to SquallMart to pick up a few things, namely brita filters, shampoo, body lotion, and candy (hush! the fruit and nut bar was calling to me, okay?), and did a couple loads of laundry.

I made a crock pot concoction yesterday, and it turned out better than I though. Lots of beans, spinach, tomatoes, zucchini and squash, and a random assortment of spices. I think I threw in a handful of currents on a whim. It is really thick, more like a stew than a soup. I am glad it is pretty tasty, as I made a whole crapload of it :x

I guess that is it. I'm not doing so badly as long as I get something writing related done today. And my HP book shipped today, so i should get it by Wednesday, wooh! Joel has kindly been reading me chapters over the internets, though :D And if he isn't still dead to the world after staying up until 6 Am drinking 8 year old Antiguan rum with one of his old profs, maybe I'll get more tonight ^-^ Come on, chapter three!
