It is unfortunate that half the travel problems I have are of my own making. For example, I just booked my flights to TO in August. However i am flying out of Houston, and while I did check the *general* schedule for the shuttle to Houston airport, I didn't check the availability for the specific days, and have therefore made is so that I have 2 to four hours waiting around at the airport that i probably could have avoided, because of course the specific days I am traveling, they don't offer any of the conveniently times shuttles. BAH!

Maybe I can shuffle the flights without extra expense if I do it right away. *sigh*

As a frequent user of said shuttle, let me just say that sometimes, that extra couple of hours is HANDY. Especially with the weather the way it has been. And if you happen to land in Houston very early, you can sometimes call the shuttle people and hop on an earlier one.

Yeah, I hopped an earlier one last time. I am less bothered about it coming home, as I have generally bad luck with travel, but the getting up extra early to wait at IAH for something like 4 hours *before* my flight is not an especially appealing notion -_-

But I really ought to book said shuttle before I forget :o

Also - I am wondering if you might want to hang out sometime, perhaps? I want to try this whole 'making friends outside of school' thing again for real :V

How do you feel about wine? There's a wine tasting that goes on at Wine Styles every Thursday night, and I was thinking of rounding up some people for a movie afterwards.

Harry Potter's my top choice too, but I put a poll on my LJ with a couple of other choices, just to see where the interest is. Snagging tickets in BCS usually isn't that hard. Movies rarely sell out here. I could pick you up before the wine tasting, we could go snag tickets, and you could just hang out with us at the wine place. They have free cheese and snacks as well as wine, so you wouldn't be totally bored. And it would be a good chance to meet and talk to some people before the movie (bring up pirates, and you'll have friends for life). What'd'ya say?
