I had given up on the showers here, because the water pressure is so crappy that it is almost impossible to get the shampoo out of my hair. Instead I figured I'd just do it in the sink, which might have been marginally better.... If the water hadn't run out! Run out! Bah! I had managed to get it more or less wet enough, but not actually wash the shampoo out. Grrrrr... >:|

On the other hand.... It seems like they have wifi in the lobby here. How I missed this information previously, I'm not entirely sure O_O I haven't trested it out yetr, but I'll give it a whirl for exia.

*sigh*

We used to get water rations in the dry season in Jamaica. But with all the rain it sounds more like the wet season in the Bahamas right now! Perhaps some runoff got into the water lines so they had to shut them down to avoid contamination. Sometimes during the rainy season the water at our house in Jamaica would come out of the tap muddy and there would be boil orders.

Up here in the Arctic, sometimes my apartment building runs out of water because there are no water lines... each building has its own tank which gets filled every few days from a water truck. If there are a lot of guests at the hotel, though, we go through water faster and thus, run out on occasion.

Yeah, I think it was just that it was the morning and the tanks were empty... When I went upstairs after dicking around on the net, it was better.
