I am going to go crazy. Kevin said I should wait and see if the people I want to talk to are going to be around, etc, before I book my tickets. But waiting for the e-mails is kiiiiiling me. I am trying to decide whether I should maybe just *call* the archives and worry about the rest of it later (since they are the main point) or what :/ I am just afraid that the longer I wait the more expensive things will get...

Meanwhile I am 'working' on my Indiamen presentation, yeah... I'm really focused :p

Do what I did to assuage the torture of waiting for "the call" (which has not come, btw, and so I add an ARGH! here in solidarity for you and also out of my own frustration) and go for a walk or something. I should be cleaning my apartment, but pacing back and forth in front of the computer waiting for an email/yahoo message wasn't getting aything terribly clean . . .

Having worked in the vacation industry for the past couple years, if you're shopping via the internet, the closer to your deadline, generally the cheaper your tickets, because they -want- to sell all available seats and generally if there's some left for your flight, room and car - they end up dirt cheap.

Calling the actual business' doesn't necessarily reflect it, but companies like expedia and travelocity reflect it in their sales.

Went to Boston, with Hotel and Rental for a Nero weekend, the nero event cost me 110$ american, bought on the wednesday before the event the flight from bangor, hotel and rental car cost me 63$ for the weekend (round trip)
