Have you ever noticed how sometimes if you come across a random interesting fact, soon you see allusions to it all over the place?

I had that happen yesterday.  In fact, it happens to me quite a lot, but this is a rather random instance, so I figured it makes a good example.  I was watching some of the video clips from the <a href="http://www.cbc.ca/mercerreport/">Rick Mercer Report</a>, and one from last week shows him visiting the Rush "Batcave" and getting drum lessons from Rush's drummer, Neil Pert.

Last night, I also went to movie night for the first time in a while.  We watched Serenity, and the horrible MST3K Hobgoblins.  Hilariously painful.  Mike also makes a throw away reference to Neil Pert.

So, yes, things like that happen all the time.  It's as though the universe realizes I've learned some new random bit of trivia and wants to make sure I get a chance to use/demonstrate that knowledge at regular intervals.

How bizarre.
