choices, choices...

So. I told myself that once I learned how to drive, i would let myself get some sort of small easily travelled dog.

However.... Sarah, one of the upper year students here, is trying to make me take a kitten. She has like ten (just born and thus not actually ready for giving away)to get rid of. i do love me some kittens. Yes, I am allergic, but I know that I can adjust to living with cats. In fact I'd become pretty adjusted over the summer, what with half the places I went having cats. One of the girls here has a dog, and it reminds me how much needier they are. maybe i am not quite at a point where I can have a dog? I dunno. maybe I should just get another hamster that I can pawn off on my sister in 2 years or so :V

I still need to learn to drive, though.

And I miss my hammy :(

These ones are just born... I did notice you also had a cat you needed a home for... *sigh*

I know. :( We still want a second cat, though... we're thinking a kitten will settle into a kitten role instead of a rival role.

When it comes to hassle, cats are way awesomer than dogs.

dogs smell more than cats, especially when they get old. You might have guessed, I'm a cat person.....

How do you do your shopping?

From a purely practical perspective... kitty litter bags are big and heavy, and you need to buy it fairly often in order to have a healthy toilet for your cat. Food bags are also pretty big, though not as heavy. So you'd probably have to use taxis/bum rides fairly often to get supplies for a kitten.

there is a grocery store right across the street - not too far to lug heavy stuff, which I already do. There is also, as mentioned, a vet's office in the strip mall right beside me.

yum!

..I mean, they've never done much for me. In my experience they mostly sort of smell and aren't very cudly.
