Of course, the movers never came, and never called. Apparently, despite the fact that I called the dispatch line and left two messages with Dina's number *and* e-mailed (replied, in fact to her e-mail asking for a contact number) the agent with whom 'd made the booking, they didn't have it changed in the system. So they've been 'trying to contact me' for days, at the wrong number. I tried to get Hazel to check that number for mesages for me, but she couldn't. Anyway. I finally got ahold of them. And they are coming on Friday. This caused me a huge panic, as I am leaving here tomorrow, at 7AM (but not getting in to CS until 10, oh joy of joys).

Fortunately, Dina is awesome, and when she came to chekc how things were going and found me an utter wreck, she said she would deal with things for me on Friday. So I owe her huge. I am mostly destresed now after hugs, kittens, pool, and a nap. She will probably be home soon, and then I will have something to eat other than toast and an ice cream sundae.Oh and peanuts, whihch was the only food at my house. You know, the place with no power or air conditioning, etc, where I've been staying the past two days in the hopes of seeing the moving truck appear.... -_-

So now I am just tired, and hungry, and not looking forward to tomorrow's day full of airports. The longest stayover is in Houston, I think. Hopefully nothing will get stolen this time :p Oh, and I am spending tomorrow night at a HoJo's, because they were the cheapest place I could book, for 7-$/stay -_-. And I can get in to my new place on Friday. And my stuff should be arriving Sunday.

I'm tired and whiney, but soon I will be at my new home, looking for new people and new adventures. I wish I were more excited about any of this. :/

Now I am going to kill customer service people.
