Oh, Canada!

You wacky country you! I just spent the better part of my afternoon and early evening celebrating your existence! You'd better appreciate it! i hardly even live here any more, but i will always be a Canadian at heart.

So what did I do today then? Eventually Rob and I got in gear, got in touch with Jen and Robyn, and went down to Harbourfront Centre for things that were going on there. There was a tall ship, and a pop-folk band from Montreal and dancers, and ethnic foods, and a shiny shiny dress. Well, okay, it isn't actually shiny, but it fit like it was made for me! So, I bought it and a shiny brass bangle with sort of stylized viking animal heads. And ice cream, and food, and after Rob went to work (he also missed the dancers, who were quite good), the three ladies went to get food. We went to some Texas grill place where they had extremely delicious margaritas and burgers. And now, I am home! And wearing my dress, because that's how I roll, oh yeah. And the bangle. Yeah, life is good. Except that something (sun? Something else?) has given me a headache. So i think I am going to lie down for a bit and then maybe write or idle on IRC, woohoo!

I left Hendrick there you know. And also there are two network cables kicking around. One should be attached to the router still.
