I am waiting for huuuuge files to load, bemoaning the fact that LJ is not entertaining enough. But should I complain, or do something?
So welcome to my meaningless post. Not a whole lot to say lately - the end of term is upon me and I am frantically trying to keep afloat. My term would be smoother sailing, but of course I didn't budget for the extra time commitment a puppy would entail! I love Jola to pieces, and she is totally worth it, but my stress levels are definitely running a little high right now. I have a 5 page book review due tomorrow, for which I finished reading the book, oh, this morning. And I also have an article to get through. thena term paper for Kevin for which I could do more research but probably have enough to work with, and a class to prepare for History that I have, at the least, gotten started on.
Other fun things have been happening, though! On saturday, for instance, the department had its Third Annual Animal Roast. we spit roasted a lamb. It was deeelicious, as one might expect. I took Jola, and she was a hit with pretty much everyone, being as she is adorable, precious, well behaved, a puppy, etc. *heart* She played with other dogs as well -0 there are videos, but only on Facebook. I have other pics from the day as well, but haven't got them off the camera, as the battery needs recharging. Priorities, people: Jola = win. Other pics include bits from the Gender Bender ball, which was pretty fun, all told. I saw
cheeseball and husband whose exact LJ name escapes me but involves Shadow something or other, and
limen.
earis and I danced our butts off.
....And that's all you get! Files processed wooh!
