I did actual work today! not much of it mind, or it doesn't seem like much to be, but work was done. I fixed up Dr. E's edits of my chapters. I just need to fix the references to things in his book, and I will probably stop by his office and borrow his copy tomorrow. On the other hand, I don't have any other reason to go to campus tomorrow, so it may be difficult to find motivation :p

Anyway, the most difficult part of the edits was to take some things out of my tables, which meant reconfiguring things in excel, adjusting all the related formulas, and reformatting the new tables. Also I had to then go through the relevant chapter bits and make sure that everything was still in order. It didn't really take that long. Since I solved the Mystery of the Bisques, I was able to deal with that data... kind of. I still don't, and probably won't, have the information I need to really make the bisques useful :/

I am stuck on Nevis though. I need an answer from Nevis Guy so that i can figure out how to arrange things. I basically have two sets of data that are kinda sorta supposed to refer to the same stuff, but they don't corroborate, and I need to know how they differ. Actually what I really need to know he may not be able to tell me, and I'm not sure what I'll do then. Well I guess I do know, but I won't like it :p *sigh*

Anyway, I give him another day and then I poke. Tomorrow I will fix references and work on cogs. And if I get references done, then I will be able to send chapters to Carl and Dr. Dudley on Wednesday, wooh! I still need to write the rest of Nevis, and intro and conclusion :p I could try working on intro more tomorrow maybe. We will see.

Now it is time for a shower and bed.

1:12: Dr E wasn't in, but the library says that I can pick up their copy either later today, or tomorrow. I also heard back from Nevis about his data, so I now know what I am doing, hooray! That will give me lots to do tonight. Right now I am going to do up the form for Dr. Parkerson, and then maybe I will read more about the Bremen Cog.

*dance* This post should be updated later as well, for all of you folks out there who are desperately curious to monitor my thesis progress ;)

7:53: well, I spent two hours reading about cogs, and then went back to the library. They didn't have my book ready - I will have to get it tomorrow, and do the corrections then. Bah. I haven't started thesis stuff yet, but, I've been thinkin' about it ;)

3:19: Well, I am mostly done with my tables. I need to make a couple more tomorrow, but I think I have all the material I need for them - I just need to put them together. I could have done that earlier but I wound up having to fix another table of mine. I also have been seriously distracted but that is normal operating procedure anyway. Tomorrow I haveto get those chapters done and get these tables done and maybe even start writing the rest of Nevis. That should go pretty quick. I hope so anyway. The real problem is that I have all this glass that I don't know what to do with.... I think I am going to just have to use the same criteria (it took far to long to think of that word) as at Barcadares, and only use the dark green glass. I don't know that I like that option though. Ahh well :/

Time for sweet delicious sleep!
