I got up at a reasonable hour for a Sunday, and I've even gotten a decent amount of stuff accomplished, go me!
I am dressed and fed. I finally put away the meta that I wanted to freeze from my grocery shopping. I portioned out the rest of my curry, and packaged up the rest of the chicken from last night's tasty dinner, and made a sauce from the leftover veggies. I posted all the old exia logs I was behind on, plus the recent LotA stuff. Save for the Elorim-Anya log which I have done but forgot to actually post for some reason o_O
So, that is a decent amount of stuff to do, when you consider how long the logs can take. The LotA ones still need to be wiki'd, but I think there are some other older ones that also need it, so I haven't quite gotten to that yet. There is some other stuff I need to do today, too. I need to finish my Mackenzie King scholarship application thing and get ready to send that out on Monday (also fax the transcript request from ECU). I also need to write a letter for Lisa, which I should start today, possibly start the next batch of readings for Method and Theory, and do some writing. Sounds like a busy enough day, better keep up with that!
Last night,
tethys123 came over and we made an experimental dinner after pouring through my Mediterranean cookbook (which by the way,
earis has that recipe for lemon chicken we were looking for the other day... -_-). We took boneless skinless chicken thighs and baked them in a dish, covered with diced tomatoes, red wine, chicken stock, garlic, thyme, rosemary, and a hint of ginger. We also had boiled red taters, and green pepper and onion sauteed in olive oil, red wine, and lemon pepper (the latter was probably not the best choice of seasoning combinations, but they were alright). Yum! For my sauce, I dumped the leftover veggies into the tomato mix and added a bay leaf and can of red kidney beans. Should be good over rice.... although I got distracted doing logs and maybe let the bottom of the pan burn. I haven't tasted it yet to see how it turned out after that -_-
ETA: apparently LotA 15 never got posted wither, off to do that...
