So I went to turn on the class laptop that my boss uses to give lectures, as I am supposed to give a make-up talk to some student ins..... an hour, and it won't load!

It just gives the splash page that shows it is trying to boot up and then..... doesn't -_- i initially tried to work from battery power, but plugging in the piwer cord doesn't seem to have made any difference.

And of course, since it is a mac, when i force it to shut down and restart (after leaving it doing nothing for a good 5 min ;p), it doesn't fix anything :V

I need to find a copy of Illustrator CS 3 for mac to buy for work. i have no idea where would be a good place to work - apparently my machine won't run CS4. Any of you computery/macy what have you folks out there have any recommendations on where to look?

Well, today is the first day I am supposed to work. I was going to fool around with the mac, make sure I know how to make it my bitch enough to get what I need doing done. But alas, it is password protected! I *think* I have e-mailed the guy who has it protected, but I 'found' his e-mail through a directory search and I'm not actually sure of his last name, so, we'll see -_-

My professor isn't in either - or he wasn't when I checked a few minutes ago :p

I guess... I will check again and then.... go to the gym! It seems a reasonable thing to do in the circumstances :V Hopefully I'll hear back by then.
