So, last night I was able to figure out where the little bastards were coming from. And that would be... from the light fixture over my sink! gah! that's practically ants from the ceiling!
I went out and gt groceries, and then had to lug everything I'd just bought back through the store because I'f forgotten ant killin' supplies. And light ulbs. But once acquired, they were put to good use. Uses like almost spraying myself twice in the eyes with Raid! It is hard to get that crap on a ceiling, let me tell you! And to not let it drip on freshly washed dishes. And it tried to take the paint off my freshly painted walls. Why couldn't I have *normal* ants? I guess that would be because I live on the *second floor* so no matter how they are getting in, they'd have to be climbing -_- I put some traps on the floor anyway. I haventt seen any of the little buggers this morning.
In other news, I started classes yesterday. The proff who si running the Conservation class is a man of many hats, however, and he has warned us that there will be times where he just can't make it. Thursday, for instance, class is already canceled, Wooh! hats include.... Department head, head of the conservation lab, and president of INA. And some others that I'm forgetting! Today i have two classes - Medieval Mediterranean.... something (shipbuilding?), and Empires and World Systems. I have twenty minutes for lunch, wooh! EWS looks like it will be really awesome. Although it does have exams, I otherwise like Dixon's class format fairly well. I do good at it. Also, the readings for this week kind of kicked ass, and I am looking forward to examining this extremely influential period of history (we're mostly looking at 19th century European based empires, and how they influenced other cultures) from a stronger Anthropological point of view. Made of win! I couldn't *not* take it, even though I think it means i don't have any more space for departmental electives in my degree plan -_-
Anyway, I gotta make my lunch (see above re: 20 minutes), so I'm off! I think class starts just after 9, so i'm aiming to be in to school by then :D
