naryrising plusthe excellent forthright and their son, then I am heading up to Montreal to see longpig (a.k.a. the Best Sister Ever), plus the equally excellent wererogue and my two nephews. Also Buck, whose currently LJ name I currently forget. Whew!
This is all good! Except I'm leaving at like 6 AM on Friday and I have So Much Crap I need to do before then D:
I haven't actually started making the Goblin I want to do for my new nephew. In theory I can get him done pretty fast, but we'll see how things fall out in practice. I need to bake something to bring for Thanksgiving tomorrow. I need to figure out what I'm doing with my dog (and my cat. This will be the longest I've ever left him on his own and I'm a little worried about his litter box... I might have to see what I can find for an emergency backup :p I desperately miss living behind a dollar store today, let me tell you.
On top of this, I haven't done any packing yet, and I'm afraid that I won't have enough space for all the stuff I need, with gifts and stuff for various kids, plus stuff for me, plus stuff I need to mail because the %*&^%( Post Office decided to close at noon today *stabs*
All this *and* I need to fix my tables for my dissertation. I'm working on this now, but I need to get out of here in the next hour and I'm afraid I won't get it all finished, and/or that I'm going to need to fix my actual *charts* and that with everything else going on I will loose track of where I am in the fixing process. I plan to take notes on what I've done and what I need to at least check (if not fix) before I go, which shoudl help, but it is aloways the information I don't think to record that I wind up needing later :p I kind of want to just go bury my head in the sand... We'll see how things are looking later tonight, I guess... Back to it now, I just needed to vent :p
Oh yes, I need to *find* my passport and my travel documents. That would probably be good :p
