All I can think is how painful if someone pulled them hard. Rrrrriiiip!

They are interesting but not my thing, for sure. Wouldn't be very sensible for any fantasy characters who fight, either.

...or being anywhere you have to sweat, or bathing or having a shower, or wearing anything on the back that might catch (not that the wearer would be that interested in keeping their back hidden).

Still, it's not like practicality ever stopped the genuinely wilful.

true, but mostly I think she would not be bathing. Or wearing clothing ;) Sweat is less an issue if they're not staying on.
