Okay, I'm stealing somethinng that Buck (I think it was him) did a while ago. Suggest 10 songs that I should go and download, so I can fill up my huge harddrive with easily Kazaa'd songs. Arr.

Now I must return to beating my resume into submission in Word. *hate*
Music:: Siouxsie and the Banshees - Face to Face
Mood:: 'aggravated' aggravated

Well, here are my suggestions, leaving out stuff I'm reasonably sure you already have or could think of on your own...

Alabina & The Gypsy Kings - Habibi Ya Nour El Ein
The Nields - Black Boys on Mopeds (and if you like this, then make sure to get hold of the original Sinead O'Connor version of the same song :)
Deep Blue Something - Breakfast at Tiffany's
Jorane - Dit-elle
Soundtrack to Ken Burns' The Civil War - Ashoken Farewell
Eurythmics - Here Comes the Rain Again (2000 Live Acoustic Version)
Iron Maiden - The Wicker Man
A3 - Woke Up This Morning
Jim Sutherland - Flick it Up and Catch It (cool percussion-y stuff here)
Khartoum Heroes - Bitter Honey

The last two tracks are from my current favorite CD, called Folk 'n' Hell (hee!). It was hard to pick just two from it, and I suspect they might be hard to find, so I'll list the others here, without compelling you to get them - consider them optional downloads ;)

Burach - Half Way Round/Walking the Line
Bongshang - If & When
Shooglenifty - The Pipe Tunes
Paul Mounsey - Passing Away
The Colour of Memory - Sun Fire Majestic
Coelbeg - The Jolly Beggar/The Man in Black
Seelyhoo - Superwasp
Dougie Maclean - All Together
Fergus MacKenzie/Simon Thoumire - By The Right
The Humpff Family - Beaujolais Nouveau
Rock, Salt & Nails - Grandmother's Eyes
The Poozies - Hoagies/Porshe
The Iron Horse - The Burning of Auchindoun/Turn Again
Tannas - O Ho Na Ribeannan
Old Blind Dogs - Willie's Aul' Trews

I can't find any of the folk 'n' hell stuff :/

But I do have a Steeleye Span (or is it Silly Sisters? I can't remember) version of the Burning of Auchindoun already. *likes song*

OK, I'll give it a shot, even though I really don't know what kind of music you like. Then again, most people would be surprised to learn that I like the following list, so maybe this will expand your horizons, or some such bullshit.

Tex Ritter - Blood on the Saddle
Rush - 2112
System of a Down - Toxicity
Tenacious D - Tribute
Tool - Schism
Yngwie Malmsteen - Black Star
Led Zeppelin - The Battle of Evermore
Jethro Tull - Bourree
Blue Oyster Cult - Veteran of the Psychic Wars
Queens of the Stone Age - No One Knows

You probly have all of these.

Jethro Tull - Fat Man (Boondock Saints soundtrack)
Creed and Tool - Alone (acoustic, possibly live)
Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms (live versions rock, original aalbum version also rocks)
Extreme - More than words
Jimmy Page and Robert Plant - Gallows Pole (better than the older Zeppelin version)
John Mellancamp - What if I came Knockin'?
Mark Cohn - Walking in Memphis

There's tons of live and acoustic Matchbox 20 stuff on the net. I hate their albums, but they do rock sufficiently in live/acoustic situations. I recommend Push, Time After Time (a la Cindi Lauper), Dear Joan, Long Day, and 3am

Pearl Jam - Masters of War (live Dylan cover, soooo awesome)
Rhymes with Orange - She forgot to laugh
NIN and David Bowie - I'm Afraid of Americans
NIN - Ruiner ('94 tds sessions rejected trance mix - this is hard to find)
Korn - Freak on a Leash (NIN remix)
NIN - Into the Void (Fliponya Mix)
Ghost in the Shell - Making of Cyborg
Ghost in the Shell - Ghosthack
Bela Fleck - Katmandu
Brooklyn Funk Essentials - Take the L Train
Brooklyn funk Essentials - Stickman crossing the Brooklyn Bridge
Cinematic Orchestra - All things to all men (feat. Roots Maneuva)
David Bowie - Golden Year
DJ Rap - Good to be Alive
DJ Shadow - I changed my mind (Stereo MCs mix)
Holly Cole Trio - So and So
Leftfield - Swords
Massive Attack - Unfinished Sympathy (Oakenfold mix)
Morcheeba - Undress me now
Morcheeba - Trigger hippie (any of the one million versions)
Peter Gabriel - Games without Frontiers (Massive Attack mix)
Portishead - glory box
Portishead - nobody

Spearhead (highly recommended) - Rock the Nation, Crime to be broke in America, Positive, Skin on the Drum, You can't sing our song, and anything else you can find

Supreme Beings of Leisure - Sublime
Supreme Beings of Leisure - Calamity Jane
Supreme Beings of Leisure - Last girl on Earth
Scapegoat Wax (Jet Set Radio Future soundtrack - Aisle 10

Whew.
