that is not awesome. I second the enzyme cleaner idea, also sprinking baking soda over the mattress and letting it sit there for a while might help absorb some of the odor. My mattress came with smoke smells (bleh) and after a few days of baking soda it was good as new.

I was about to suggest baking soda too. Good for soaking up moisture and getting rid of odors.
