Either it has been so long since I've burned files to a disc that I've become retarded, or else all my discs are bad. D'oh!
But you should be able to open an empty cd rom, right? Or is it just that I've become confounded by macs after using them for too long? Do I need a special program to maka a data cd?
ETA; ....well, I apparently *have* a program for burning data discs, and it seems to work, so... good enough :p
