elanya at 09:28am on 12/07/2009So, this weekend I have been doing different things. I spent yesterday sewing and doing some in game e-mailing for Underworld. I have been reading a whooooole lot of Romulan centered fic, and some other ST stories as well. More than other weekends. Whiole I did go over to Sam and David's last night with some of the usual crew, we watched a classic movie - Paris when it Sizzles, with Audry Hepburn William Holden - as opposed to our usual star treks, Big Bang Theories, or MST3K's. Generally, I've been relaxing, and such - its nice. Tomorrow I need to go in to school and make myself do work. I have some things I need to do - files to clean up and such, off my old computer. I want to check my mail, look through some books, talk to some people, etc.
As for living with Claire, it's been fun. She spoils me by doing things like waking up early and walking Jola, so that I don't have to :V although honestly I could probably use the exercise, and I should start getting up early again also. After my recovery weekend, okay? So, tomorrow. Also, we cook together, and have all kinds of geeky conversations which sometimes go to very wrong places. Witness: I was telling her about the joys of playing BraveStarr when we were kids, and showed her the show intro on Youtube. This later turned in to a brief conversation of Tex Hex/BraveStarr cannibal porn, derived from the marshal's little known power of Taste of the Bison! It is good times. I do tend to harass her waaaaaay too much when she is working on her thesis though, but honestly having an audience just means that I have fewer of the same conversations with myself :V
As for sewing, I am trying to embiggen the pattern for my choli, and am having mixed results so far. I think I can get it, the question now is whether or not I can get it before I run out of care. The scrap fabric I am working with is leftovers from making the veil for my Dark Elf, so I have started to think of it is DE underwear. Hawt!
