I'm back in Joel's grad louge, and I have got a lot of things to relate. I'm starting with my quest to find extracurricular activities here. I e-mailed a potential dance teacher (Dharlene valeda of Haft Vadi Studios) and am looking into the martial atrs thing. I think I want to do Kung Fu. I've found a couple of places that teach it in Kitchener, including this guy. You think I should go for it, what? Just... read the bio. :o Look at his *hands* for chissakes :o
In other news, I hate student loans people. Oh, wait, it isn't new, but true nevertheless! I got a phone call this morning from a guy the NB student loan place saying that I had cashed an extra cheque and the solicitor general wasn't very happy. yay fraud! Fuck I was angry, and upset, of course. I sent out a big e-mail to lots of people this afternoon, and hopefully I can get things sorted out. Hopefully >:|
In other news, i am settling in well enough, except for the lack of internet/things to do. I've been doing a lot of watching Scott and Joel play grand Theft Auito: Vice City, which is kind of enteraining, but I expect I'll tire of them running around and blowing shit up soon enough. Yesterday, I went out for a walk to see how far away things really are 9not very), and in the evening I took over the un-used basement and dances for 2-3 hours. whee!
I still have no job and haven't met anyone, but I haven't really gotten started on trying yet. Well see.
I also don't have home internet yet, so I probably won't be making any online games until at least next week. I'll let peoepl know, of course.... *sigh*. Scott needs money, and then we have to figure out where were putting stuff. We're getting Rogers, we have ecided that at least.
Arr.

I was gonna say bye over LJ via cellphone, but it didn't work.

I'm still waiting for kung fu to start up again. Although I enjoy Danny's classes immensely, I wish they didn't break, and I wish there was more personal attention. I know I'd progress more and faster with some one-on-one coaching.

He really does seem like a chop sokky flick, doesn't it? Especially the gang-busting part :D
