I did, but she has done similar and gotten disciplined for it before.

I don't think she associates *classes* of objects. What I need to teach her is to not take things off the table, which I can't do if she never does it when I'm around -_-

we have this issue with Wicket and the coffee table. Our solution has become to close her in the hallway/bed area while we are away with her eats, toys and bed. She just gets bored left to herself for more then an hour and gets destructive :(. If you find a sure fire way to cure her of it please let me know!

Hmmmmmm very good points... perhaps you could be a little evil and put tempting objects on the table while you are home and if she goes at them stop her and let her know that is a big no no!
