Well, Aprils is off to a great start

Last night I stepped in a fire ant nest. Not as bad as it could be - mstly this am is is like having some mosquito bites, after runnig i=untder hot water, taking an allegra, and having Daniel do some awesome distance reiki.

This morning, I managed to fall almost flat on my fact running with Jola behind the grocery store behind my house. I twisted the good ankle and tore up my hands and toes (better than my face). Jola didn't come when I called her, but she did go straight home. I gave her a treat.

Don't run in crocs, mmm'kay?

ETA - Also, between the time I posted this and when I eventually left the house, my internet wasn't working :p

Jebus, Lan. If you kill yourself before August, I will be very displeased.

I'll be good!

Last I checked, Crocs were not listed as a running/cross-training shoe. Poor Jola thought something big and scary was happening to Momma. Awwwww...

Are you alright?

I wasn't running *far* :/

And yeah - I twisted my ankle, but I wrapped and iced it and it is already feeling better. I can walk on it fine, anyway, without limping too much :p

fire ants can be really nasty. I got bitten by loads of them when they got into my lunch cooler on site in Miami and I tried to rescue my food. Then I took an antihistamine and got so dozey I tripped on a rope and slammed my knee into the bedrock. I blame the fire ants entirely. Look after yourself. Hope you are having fun with the new pup in spite of everything :)

I once sat on some fire ants....no wonder I hate wearing shorts.
