It is a quite similar style, actually. I think the main differences are that the placement of the button loop is different, and this one isn't lined (though it wouldn't be hard to line, I don't think, if you are in to that sort of thing!). I cant recall off the top of my head, but I think my 'pirate coat might have a slit i the back, which would be another minor difference. otherwise, if you were looking for a pattern for a similar coat, this would probably be a good choice. Except that it is totally a lady coat - boys don't need boob darts ;p
