I am going to go watch The Lion in Winter with my med med class soon. I was going to bring garlic-y delicious fresh bread! But alas and alack, it fell ;_;

Usually i love my breadmaker. Today is not one of those days. *sigh*

At least there will be a good movie though :D

Remind me - was it originally in colour or B&W?

PS - I meant to mention that I'm writing two more LiW fics :) Actually, one is already done, but it won't get posted up at my journal until January. The other one, however, will be up sooner. If you feel like reading either of them (and giving comments if you have the time) I'd gladly send them to you.

I saw that you'd claimed an intriguing one at smallfandom! I would love to read them :D I could probably fit in a little time for commenting.... :)

Err, also, if the other one happens to be Jeffrey/Philip, that would be fantastic. Just in case, you know :x

Of course if it isn't, and you are still taking requests... ^-^

I was apparently named after someone in that film. I should see it one of these days...

It really is quite fantastic. Make sure you get the 1968 version though, there was a recent remake, and though it has good actors.... it's just not as good.

My friend Claire likened it to being really impressed by pretty 3D graphics.... and then going outside, and realizing that as nice as imitation can be, the real thing is generally nicer ;)
