A quote from the Earl of Craven, from Samuel Pepys' diary, Sat. Nov 19, 1664:
"For," says he, "if I occupy a wench first, you may occupy her againyour heart out you can never have her maidenhead after I have once had it."

(Craven was one of the original Lords Proprietors of the Carolinas and the Bahamas. Here he was talking about selling lotteries in the royal fishery, more or less.)
