Went and waited at the Social Security office for an hour or so (thanks again miss Megan!), only to find out that I didn't actually have all the stuff I needed. Maybe that's why they never gave me my card in Greenville :p I need a letter from my employer and also from the International Student Jerks saying I have a reason for needing a SSN. Bah! Hopefully i can get all that stuff between the time that I am home from Canada and the Bahamas...

It's going to be a very commonwealth summer @_@

I should say that before wasting my time at the SSO, I had a really nice lunch with Megan and Claire - we went over to the grocery store and bought the fixings for salad, bread, cheese, and broccoli soup (to which we added more cheese, pepper, and nutmeg, mmm). Good food, good company :) We were going to make cookies, but we didn't. Probably for the best, since I still have cupcakes here (from a second run at the nerd cupcakes, wooh!), as well as chocolate pudding squares. Apparently i'm tired of people telling me every time I go home that i have lost weight, and want to start porking up before I get there ;)
