I'm eating chicken noodle soup. I'm happy to be comsuming some with a much lower slime mold content than is available in England. :D

I'm sure I had more to say here but I don't remember now :o

Life has been good. hanging out with various friends. Watching trigun. Oh. Think about this. Vash the stampede. Remember that's a translation and spelling derived from the Japanese.... In order to get the *sound* of Vash, they would have had to spell it 'Vashu.' I don't even remember if they have 'v; sounds naturally off the top of my head. But why Vashu the Stampede, of all things? Lets think for a moment. What other ways are there of getting something that sounds like 'vash' in English, or other languages? How about.... Vache? As in, you know, the French word for cow? makes the stampede thing sound more... well, okay not reasonable. but if you say it like 'Vache: the Stampede' then doesn't it just really sound like a super lame White Wolf game? ^-^

I may get lynched for that, I don't know ;) Vash isn't a cow by anymeans ;)

I thik the only other thing that I had been meaning to write about was fall. I love fall, favourite season... so many pretty colours... Glad that I'm here instead of England, because they just don't get the brillant reds and oranges. Anyway, I need to figure out what I'm doing today. Arr...

Later on in Trigun, more characters are introduced with the same naming scheme, ie. so-and-so the such-and-such. And most of them don't make a great deal of sense. If, however, you flip it around, like 'Stampede Vash', I think it's slightly more sensical.

But maybe not.

I was thinking I had recently seen some really colorful, beautiful foliage. However, in retrospect, I think I dreamed it. How sad is that? Kid from NH dreaming about the leaves changing...

On behalf of my country 'HEY!!'.
There's plenty of vivid colour in our Autumns. Just not in Sheffield......

Anyhoo, I went comic shopping on Saturday and found some limited edition issues of 'Midnight Nation'. If you mail me you address, I'll mail them over :o)
Have fun.
