Can someone tell me a good brand of writable dvds? or alternately tell me what my computer might be doing that would make all these memorex ones appear full? I've gotten 4 to work. Out of 14 :p

ETA: N/M - I finally figured out how I was being retarded. *sigh*

I accidentally baked three batches of cookies. I was aiming for 1. whoops. 1/4 lb butter is not 1/4 cup. *sigh*.

At least the freeze! And everyone likes cookies :)

Memorex blows. Even their original CD-Rs were infamous for making coasters and they don't seem to have learned anything from the experience when they went into the DVD-R biz. Try almost any other brand but Sony, Ricoh and Fuji work for me pretty good.

Also, make sure you've got the right type of media for your DVD drive. There's two main styless, DVD-R and DVD+R(a later invention). Most older DVD writers are DVD-R only, and there are some DVD+R only writers as well, but most newer models support both + and -R formats.

Then it's probably the Memorex. Another option, get DVD-RWs. For some reason I've *never* had a rewriteable fuck up on me, and the price on them is only a tad higher. They last just as long, though.
