Yesterday I bought cheap pork tenderloin - 5$ for a nice looking 3 lb roast. So now, I am trying to decide what to do with it.
I think I am going to try making a stuffing of pineapple, dates, cinnamon, ginger, garlic and maybe apples, and steal Joy's cooking times and such. I have applesauce to cook it with.
I am totally pulling this 'recipe' out of my bum. Lets see how it works :V
Wish I had a meat thermometer though :/
Experimental food time! I have a bag of Caesar salad if all else fails :o

Today's foodsperiment.............Success! - dates and pineapple, unsurprisingly go well with pork. In the end, i modified a recipe for Joy for a dried apple stuffing, only I didn't use wine or much juice. Yum! Next time I might try less garlic and maybe some kind of brown sugar glaze. I've had pork tenderloin done that way before and it was really good - i think it would go well with the dates, especially.
