In other exciting news, I nudged the dark Wisdom people about Ice, and got a reply back the same day. The assistant editor who read it really liked it, and is waiting to hear back from his boss about it. But his boss is, as I recall, trying to finish editing a book, I believe, and is probably really busy which is why submissions were originally closed in the first place. So, more waiting, but encouraging waiting!

Thanks! I'm trying to remain cautiously optimistic - it isn't in the bag yet, and who knows how ling it will take? Still, it is pretty cool to at least know I'm this far along :)
