Music-y help?

Once upon a time, I had a program that let me record music with a couple different tracks, and it was kind of fun. But I had a cool idea for a thingy and the program is on my dead computer, and I can't for the life of me remember the name!

So, I am wondering if anyone out there can point me at a program that will let me record voice from a microphone, play with the recording a bit, save it to mp3 or what have you, and is also free?

That's the plan!

I am taking today to get my house in order and such, relax, and chill and so forth...

Alas my lack of sleep is catching up to me and I think I am starting to come down with a cold :(

Oh no! I have some vitamin C drops here if you want a few; maybe that would help?

I'm doing something similar, except I'm really trying to clean before everyone gets here. Mainly the floors, because if people are going to sleep on them, I want them clean, you know?

But I have to go to the grocery store in a few. :/ I need ice and Triscuits. I hate the grocery. Too many people. Bah!
