I just read Joe Flatman's paper "Cultural Biographies, Cognitive Landscapes, and Dirty Old Bits of Boat," And it just about makes me want to cry that I am here and not at UCL. One of the main reasons I am going to SHA this year is that I want to have a chance to meet him and talk to him.

*sigh*

Not officially? Dina said something about getting a room with some folks at some point, but I've got nothing officially lined up except a comittment to going! I have a list of people I need to see/talk to :p
