Thew library smells gross - at least the 6th floor stacks do. It doesn't smell like old books. It smells like someone peed on the floor about 20 years ago and it never got cleaned up :p

Also, I am up here on the 6th floor, and what do I see but a number shelves labeled "Basement collection".

buh!

Libraries shouldn't smell gross >:p

if they basement has high humidity, like over 68% there is probably a mould problem and the paper is being destroyed. Not to mention a person's lungs too....but hopefully the library people would be on top of that, so, pee it may be!
