Today I got up early to catch the bus in the rain, to go and learn how to draw ship lines. Then I had lunch, and had another class, and then I came back home and failed to actually draw ship lines. I can get as far as drawing the waterlines on the body plan and sheer plan, but as to how I go about translating them onto the half-breadth plan, I am completely mystified. It all seemed so clear in class... *sigh* So now, I will go in early tomorrow and see if I can find someone to explain it to me, and actually show me and try it a few times myself then and there.

I also went over next door to see about the bellydance classes, and meet the instructor, Viviane. She seems nice, but recommended that I try the dance classes she offers through the rec center, as they would be cheaper. I think I'll look into it, but it may be hard to fit into my schedule because of my other classes, the bus schedule, etc :/ I'll figure something out.

The other thing I did was to go and see Pirates 2 again with Claire and Leanne, who hadn't seen it yet. It's a fun little flick, and I am looking forward to the resolution.

Now, I am going to make date squares (been trying to do this for days now!), maybe do some more writing, and maybe also start recovering files off my old computer. Oh, and download House.

My connection seems to be holding for the moment - we'll see how she goes :p

In other other news, I have been on a big Clint Eastwood binge lately, and couldn't resist buying the Man With No Name trilogy at Best Buy, along with High Planes Drifter. Now I just need The Outlaw Josey Whales, and Unforgiven. ...Hey it is Tuesday, where is my Beyond the Pale? :o
